Nvidia Launches Halos Full-Stack Robotics Safety System; Agility Robotics First Integration Partner

Nvidia on Monday, June 22, launched Halos for Robotics, an industry-first full-stack physical AI safety system for robots, at the Automate 2026 conference in Chicago. The platform spans chips, operating systems, algorithms, and third-party certifications. Agility Robotics became the first partner to integrate Halos, embedding IGX Thor and Halos Core into its humanoid robot Digit for pedestrian detection safety systems currently deployed at Amazon, GXO, and Toyota Canada manufacturing facilities. Nvidia's robotics ecosystem has expanded to over 43 partners, including Boston Dynamics, Hesai Technologies, and chip makers Infineon and NXP.
