According to Jin10, the Netherlands announced on Wednesday, June 18, that it will provide €500 million (approximately $580 million) in military support to Ukraine. The Dutch Defense Ministry stated that half of the funds will support the Priority Ukraine Requests List (PURL) mechanism, under which European allies procure U.S. weapons for Ukraine. The remaining €250 million will be allocated toward supplying drones to Ukraine.
During talks with Ukrainian officials in The Hague, the Dutch Defense Minister emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin's continued attacks on Ukrainian cities make air defense capabilities more critical than ever.
