Netanyahu Heads to Washington on July 26, Slams ICC Prosecutor Khan's Removal

According to i24 News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on July 26 that he will travel to Washington tomorrow to meet with President Donald Trump at the latter's invitation, followed by attending the memorial service of Senator Lindsey Graham. Netanyahu stated he will discuss all current agenda items with Trump, including the situation with Iran.

Regarding the International Criminal Court's removal of Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, Netanyahu said the vote result "exposed the fact" that Khan not only faced accusations of sexual harassment of female subordinates but also had previously pursued arrest warrants against Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Netanyahu characterized Khan's actions as an attempt to "distract attention, unite all of Israel's enemies around him, and provide himself with an umbrella of protection."
