Moonshot AI Launches Kimi K2.7 Code HighSpeed, 6x Faster With Double API Pricing

According to Beating, Moonshot AI unveiled Kimi K2.7 Code HighSpeed, a faster inference version of its open-source multimodal coding model. The high-speed variant achieves approximately 180 tokens/s for medium-length inputs and up to 260 tokens/s for short-context tasks, delivering up to 6x faster generation speed overall. API pricing for the high-speed version is double that of the standard version: input cache hit at $0.38 per million tokens, cache miss at $1.90 per million tokens, and output at $8.00 per million tokens, compared to $0.19, $0.95, and $4.00 respectively for the standard edition. Access is currently limited due to computational capacity constraints, with rollout initially restricted to Kimi Code beta testers, Kimi API developers, and enterprise users.
