Microsoft Raises Xbox Prices Up to $150 on June 25 Amid Memory Cost Surge

According to its official blog, Microsoft raised Xbox console prices effective August 1, with select models increasing by up to $150. The Xbox Series S 512GB version climbed $100 to approximately $500, while the 1TB variant rose $150. The Xbox Series X entry model reached around $750. Microsoft attributed the increases to memory and storage component costs rising over 2.5 times, with further doubling expected through fall 2027 as AI infrastructure expansion strains supply.
