Micron's Strategic Value in AI Era Underestimated, Says Critini Analyst on June 28

According to Critini Research analyst Jukan, on June 28, memory constraints are limiting AI inference performance more than GPU capacity itself. Jukan argued that while Micron is not Nvidia, it may prove more critical to AI profitability. GPU units frequently sit idle due to memory bottlenecks, making memory additions more valuable than GPU increases in inference stages. The return on inference investments ultimately depends more on memory than GPU. In the later AI era, high-bandwidth memory (HBM) will become a more critical bottleneck and value source than GPUs, positioning Micron's strategic importance beyond current market expectations.
