According to The New York Times, Meta is in talks to lease computing capacity from its AI data centers to Anthropic under a two-year agreement valued at up to $10 billion. Anthropic proposed the partnership in June, and Meta is currently evaluating the terms. Under the proposed arrangement, Anthropic would pay Meta on a monthly basis over two years, with both parties retaining the right to terminate the agreement early. The deal size represents roughly one-third of Anthropic's May contract with SpaceX.
