Kraken Launches Mastercard Crypto Debit Card in UK and Europe, Offers 2% Cashback

Kraken has launched a Mastercard debit card in the UK and the European Economic Area, enabling users to spend directly from more than 600 supported cryptocurrency and cash balances. The card converts funds in near real time at checkout, allowing customers to pay at online and in-store merchants where Mastercard is accepted without manually selling crypto or transferring funds to a separate bank account. The card offers up to 2% cashback paid weekly in bitcoin, euros, or pounds, with no transaction or ATM fees. In the UK, the card is issued by Monavate, authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority; in the EEA, it is issued by UAB Monavate, authorized by the Bank of Lithuania. Other markets are expected to follow.
