Jiangsu Upgrades Typhoon Warning to Yellow Alert as Typhoon Bawei Brings Gusts Up to 10 on July 11

According to Jiangsu Meteorological Bureau, on July 11, the province upgraded its typhoon warning to yellow alert and raised emergency response to level III as Typhoon Bawei approaches. From July 11 to 14, sea areas including Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Yancheng, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Taizhou, and Lianyungang are expected to experience maximum gusts around 10 on the Beaufort scale, while Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Huai'an, and Suqian will see gusts around 9. Southern river and lake areas will experience gusts around 11.
