According to ChainCatcher, Janus Henderson Investors announced a multi-faceted partnership with synthetic dollar protocol Ethena on June 10. The asset manager will integrate its AAA-rated JAAA collateralized loan obligation (CLO) product into Ethena's USDe reserve portfolio, introducing institutional-grade credit exposure. The firm also committed to incorporating staked sUSDe into its corporate treasury management. Janus Henderson and Ethena plan to jointly develop regulated investment products, including ETFs and ETPs, targeting a launch in the second half of 2026.
Following the announcement, ENA declined approximately 7% to $0.082, with a market capitalization around $760 million. Ethena's protocol total value locked reached $4.95 billion, according to DefiLlama data.
