Jane Street Cuts Bitcoin ETF Exposure by 71% While Expanding Ether Positions in Q1 2026

According to a 13F filing released Tuesday, Jane Street significantly reduced its Bitcoin ETF holdings during Q1 2026 while substantially increasing exposure to Ether exchange-traded funds. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) position dropped 71% to approximately 5.9 million shares valued at $225 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) stake fell 60% to roughly 2 million shares worth $115 million. Concurrently, Jane Street’s combined holdings in BlackRock and Fidelity Ether ETFs increased by approximately $82 million, with iShares Ethereum Trust holdings nearly doubling during the quarter.
