Iran's Deputy Security Official Says U.S. Attacks Aim to Disrupt Asian Integration at BRICS Meet

According to Iran’s semi-official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Ali Bagheri Kani, deputy head of the Supreme National Security Council’s foreign policy division, said at the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting that U.S. attacks target “disrupting Asian integration.” Bagheri characterized the conflict as “the beginning of an attack on the Global South,” warning that such attacks could spread if left unaddressed.
