Iran Will Continue U.S. Negotiations With Strong Distrust, Demands Asset Unfreezing on May 20

GateNews

According to Jin10 citing Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei, on May 20, Iran will continue negotiations with the U.S. while maintaining strong distrust toward America.

Baghaei stated that Tehran is conducting ongoing information exchanges with the U.S. through Pakistani intermediaries. Iran's core demands include ending regional conflicts, unfreezing Iranian overseas assets, and halting what it describes as maritime seizures targeting Iranian shipping. Despite negative U.S. actions over the past 18 months, Iran said it will pursue diplomatic efforts with seriousness and good faith while maintaining reasonable distrust.
