According to Q1 reports, Intesa Sanpaolo, Italy’s largest bank, added 712,319 shares of Grayscale XRP Trust valued at approximately $18 million in the first quarter of 2026. The position provides indirect exposure to XRP through the investment vehicle rather than direct token ownership.

Intesa Sanpaolo’s broader crypto-related assets climbed to about $235 million by the end of Q1 2026, up from roughly $100 million in Q4 2025. The bank expanded its Bitcoin holdings and gained Ethereum exposure during the quarter while reducing Solana-linked positions.
