Indonesia's Danantara Hires Banks for Potential Dollar Bond Issuance on June 3

According to reports, Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara has hired Citigroup, DBS Bank, HSBC, Mandiri Securities, and Standard Chartered as joint lead managers to arrange a potential global U.S. dollar bond offering. Starting Wednesday, the banks will host investor conferences and calls across Asia, Europe, and the United States. The mandate does not guarantee the transaction will proceed. The move comes as investor concerns mount over recent initiatives by President Prabowo, following downgrades to Indonesia's credit outlook by Moody's and Fitch earlier this year.
