IBM Plans $10 Billion Investment in Quantum Computing, Targets 2029 Milestone

According to Reuters, IBM announced plans to invest over $10 billion in quantum computing over the next five years, targeting the development of the world's first large-scale quantum computer capable of stable and error-free execution of complex calculations by 2029. The investment will cover research and development, capital expenditure, ecosystem partnerships, and manufacturing expansion. IBM will also invest $1 billion in Anderon, which will provide chip manufacturing technology to both IBM and external customers.
