Gate News reports that, according to the official announcement from the Humanity (H) project, due to a hack affecting Humanity (H), the existing Humanity (H) tokens will be exchanged for a brand-new contract token at a 1:1 ratio. Humanity (H) tokens on the Gate platform will automatically participate in the exchange, and eligible users will be able to exchange for new tokens on a 1:1 basis.

Gate has paused Humanity (H) deposits and withdrawals; user trading is not affected during the token exchange period. The new Humanity (H) contract address is 0xE76c5b78f93909d34404E9eb4C1f19e7582a5dE1 (ETH). Per the project team’s requirements, the token exchange does not include addresses and transactions related to the hacker; users who deposit to Gate after the deposit suspension are not eligible for the exchange.

Gate will no longer support the old Humanity (H) contract tokens.
