Hong Kong Stock ETFs Surge on June 24, Chip Funds Up 6%, Biotech Advances 4%

According to Zhitong Finance, on June 24, Hong Kong stock market ETFs surged as semiconductor and biotech sectors led gains. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.33% to 23,412.18 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.81% to 4,479.02 points.

Chip ETFs rallied sharply, with EasyFund Chip ETF (516350) up 6.08% to 2.11 yuan, Guotai Chip ETF (516640) up 6.08% to 1.866 yuan, and Dongcai Chip ETF (159599) up 5.85% to 3.603 yuan. Biotech ETFs extended gains, with Jiashi Hong Kong Innovation Pharma ETF (520970) up 4.1% to 0.711 yuan and Jingshun Hong Kong Innovation Pharma ETF (513780) up 3.94% to 1.32 yuan. Two newly listed ETFs debuted: South China Green Power ETF (159061) fell 1.66% to 0.946 yuan on its first day, while Dacheng Rare Metals ETF (159045) rose 2.13% to 1.009 yuan.
