Global Trust in Trump at 23%, Down Across 16 Countries, Pew Survey Finds

According to the Pew Research Center, a survey released on June 24 found that only 23% of adults worldwide trust Trump's international decision-making ability, with approximately two-thirds expressing little to no confidence. The poll, conducted from February to May 2026, covered 42,151 adults across 36 countries. Among 24 countries with comparable trend data, 16 saw declining confidence in Trump, with no country reporting improvement. Meanwhile, global perceptions of the United States remain predominantly negative, with 37% holding favorable views versus 57% unfavorable.
