Gate launches stock transfer-in and transfer-out function, supporting cross-broker transfer of US and Hong Kong stocks with no fees charged.

Gate News, July 1, 2026 - According to an official announcement from Gate, the exchange has officially launched stock transfer-in and transfer-out functions, supporting cross-broker transfer of US and Hong Kong stocks. Users can apply to transfer stocks held at external brokers into Gate, or transfer holdings from their Gate stock account to other brokers. The stock transfer service is free of charge and uses the FOP transfer method, with US stocks processed through the DTC system and Hong Kong stocks through the CCASS system. The entire transfer process is expected to take 3 to 15 business days.

A limited-time "Stock Deposit Reward" campaign has also been launched simultaneously, running from July 1 to July 7, 2026. Users who complete a transfer-in application for US or Hong Kong stocks with a transferred asset value of at least 3,000 USDT equivalent, and provide valid fee receipts from the original broker, can apply for a fee subsidy. The maximum subsidy for US stock transfer fees is 15,000 USDT, and for Hong Kong stocks, 6,000 USDT. VIP levels can be upgraded up to VIP 9.

The launch of this stock transfer service further enhances Gate's global stock business. Gate already supports users in trading over 10,000 US mainstream stocks and ETFs, over 1,500 Hong Kong stock targets, and over 1,000 Korean stocks using USDT, covering a total of over 12,500 global stock and ETF assets. It also supports 24/7 trading for US, Hong Kong, and Korean stocks, as well as fractional share trading starting from as low as 0.01 shares.
