EU and US Agree on Trade Deal Implementation, Tariff Benefits to Expire on Dec 31, 2029

According to the European Parliament's International Trade Committee, the European Parliament and EU member states reached a provisional agreement on May 20 regarding the implementation of the EU-U.S. trade agreement. Under the agreement, EU tariff concessions on U.S. industrial goods and certain agricultural and fishery products will expire on December 31, 2029, unless both parties decide to extend the terms.
