According to Ramp's report published Wednesday, DeepSeek topped the corporate spending platform's trending software vendors list in June, with corporate adoption reaching 0.1% among over 50,000 US businesses tracked via corporate card and bill payment data. The adoption rate had peaked at 0.3% in January 2025 before declining to 0.1% in April. Anthropic and OpenAI led the index at 34.4% and 32.3% respectively. Ramp economist Ara Kharazian noted that direct payments to DeepSeek suggested some US firms were using the company's hosted service rather than self-hosting its open-source models.
