Cryptocurrency Market Sees $705M in Liquidations in 24 Hours, Long Positions Hit Hardest

According to Coinglass, in the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market saw $705 million in liquidations, with long positions accounting for $587 million and short positions $118 million. Bitcoin longs liquidated $153 million while shorts liquidated $53.65 million; Ethereum longs saw $148 million in liquidations against $28.13 million for shorts.

A total of 144,804 traders were liquidated during the period. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's ETH-USD pair, worth $14.15 million.
