Crypto PACs Invest $5.5M in Maryland Race as Clarity Act Eyes Senate Vote

According to Crypto in America, on June 22, crypto political action committees intensified efforts to advance the Clarity Act ahead of Congress entering a two-week recess this week. Fairshake-backed Protect Progress committed $5.5 million to support Adrian Boafo, a Democratic candidate in Maryland's Fifth Congressional District primary, with Blockchain Leadership Fund also backing the campaign.

Separately, Fairshake deployed $12 million last week to help Republican Senate primary candidate Barry Moore win in Alabama. The Digital Chamber plans to conduct lobbying activities on Capitol Hill this week to push the Clarity Act and crypto tax legislation.
