Crypto Markets See $325M in Liquidations in 24 Hours, With $209M Long Positions Wiped Out

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, the cryptocurrency market experienced $325 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $209 million and short positions for $115 million. Bitcoin long liquidations reached $36.19 million while short liquidations hit $52.75 million; Ethereum saw $26.03 million in long liquidations and $24.99 million in short liquidations.

In total, 86,031 traders were liquidated during the period, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Binance BTCUSDT, valued at $6.65 million.
