Citic Securities Maintains Optimistic View on Hong Kong Stocks for H2 2026

GateNews
According to Citic Securities, foreign investors showed signs of returning to Hong Kong stocks from mid-May 2026 after four rounds of significant outflows since Q4 2025. The brokerage maintained an overall optimistic judgment on Hong Kong equities for the second half of the year, citing improved macro fundamentals and potential corporate earnings recovery as catalysts. If macro data rebounds and China's top leader visits the U.S. as scheduled in autumn 2026, the fourth quarter could see a "valuation plus earnings" double lift, Citic added.
