China's State Flood Control Headquarters Activates Level IV Response for Three Provinces on June 8

According to CCTV News, China's State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters activated a Level IV emergency response at 10 a.m. on June 8 for Fujian, Guangdong, and Yunnan provinces. The Central Meteorological Administration forecasted heavy to severe rainfall across these regions from June 8–9, with some areas expecting torrential downpours, increasing risks of flash floods, geological disasters, and urban waterlogging.
