China Yuan Money Market Sentiment Index Rises to 50, Up 2 Points on May 29

According to Jin10 Futures, the CNEX Chinese yuan money market sentiment index rose to 50 as of 8:45 a.m. on May 29, up 2 points from 4 p.m. on May 28. The index, which ranges from 0 to 100 with 50 representing equilibrium and readings above 50 indicating tightness, also showed gains across banking segments: large banks reported 48 (up 2 points), mid-sized banks 51 (up 2 points), and non-bank financial institutions 49 (up 2 points).
