According to the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the central bank is soliciting public comments on revisions to the Large Certificate of Deposit (CD) Management Measures today, June 12. A key change lowers the minimum investment amount for individual investors from its previous level to no less than 200,000 yuan. The revised measures also clarify that third-party platforms and banks' own channels can both facilitate CD transfers, early withdrawals, and redemptions. Additionally, issuers must promptly disclose material events on their official websites and designated information disclosure platforms.
