China and Myanmar Release Joint Statement on Mekong Cooperation 2.0 on June 17

According to Jin10, China and Myanmar released a joint statement on June 17 aimed at accelerating the building of a shared future community. The two nations agreed to strengthen Lancang-Mekong cooperation and support the successful hosting of the fifth Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Leaders' Meeting. Both countries committed to jointly developing the "LMC 2.0 framework" and constructing a Mekong regional community of shared peace and prosperity.
