CFTC: U.S. Treasury Futures Speculators Increase Net Short Positions Across All Maturities in Week Ended June 2

According to CFTC data, speculative net short positions in U.S. Treasury futures increased across all maturities in the week ended June 2. Positions in the 2-year Treasury futures rose by 94,942 contracts to 1,350,188, while 5-year futures climbed 46,091 contracts to 1,369,218. The 10-year maturity saw net short positions increase by 41,621 contracts to 829,575, and ultra-long Treasury futures rose 27,868 contracts to 287,710.
