According to reports, Cash App, a subsidiary of Block, is rolling out USDC stablecoin payment functionality to its approximately 60 million users this week, with 25% coverage achieved as of today (May 27). The feature supports deposits and withdrawals via USDC, allows transfers between external wallets and Cash App balances, and enables stablecoin use as a payment settlement tool rather than an investment product. The functionality is available across four blockchain networks: Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum.
