According to Broadcom's Q2 FY2026 earnings report released after market close on June 3, the chipmaker reported AI semiconductor revenue of $10.8 billion, up 143% year-over-year, with over $30 billion in new orders—far exceeding actual shipments. Total quarterly revenue reached $22.2 billion, up 48% annually, surpassing guidance. CEO Chen Fu-Yang described customer demand for customized AI accelerators and networking equipment as "simply insatiable," reiterating that FY2027 AI chip revenue will "easily exceed $100 billion."
Broadcom also announced the creation of the "AI XPV platform" in partnership with Apollo Global Management and Blackstone, allocating $35 billion to deploy over 20 GW of computing capacity by 2028. Long-term supply agreements include multi-generation commitments from Google, Meta, OpenAI, and Anthropic, spanning deployments through 2029.
