Bot Traffic Reaches 57.5% on Cloudflare in 7-Day Period, Surpassing Human Traffic for First Time

According to Cloudflare Radar, bot traffic accounted for 57.5% of global HTTP requests for HTML web content over the past 7 days, surpassing human traffic at 42.5% for the first time. Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince announced the data on June 5, noting this milestone came more than a year ahead of industry predictions. Some observers questioned the measurement methodology, citing challenges in distinguishing bot requests from underlying human activity.
