Blockchain Association Sends Support Letter for Clarity Act to Senate Leaders on Behalf of 160 Officials

According to Foresight News, the Blockchain Association sent a joint letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer on June 4, signed by 160 former national security, intelligence, and law enforcement professionals. The letter expressed support for the Clarity Act, emphasizing that clear regulatory rules strengthen consumer protection and assist law enforcement in investigating criminal activity.

The Blockchain Association plans to lead letter signers and members to Washington, D.C. for a fly-in visit on June 4, with meetings scheduled at 18 Senate offices.
