Bitcoin Treasury Companies' Holdings Surge to 1.14M BTC While Portfolio Value Evaporates Over $100B Since October 2025

BTC-2.36%
According to BlockBeats citing analyst Darkfost, on July 11, global bitcoin treasury companies' portfolio value evaporated from $396 billion to $272 billion since October 2025, yet their total bitcoin holdings increased from 953,000 to 1.14 million BTC. The decline in portfolio value was entirely driven by bitcoin price depreciation, not asset reduction. These companies' heaviest accumulation period concentrated from November 2024 to October 2025, with holdings tripling in under a year at average purchase prices between $75,000 and $125,000—coinciding with bitcoin's historical price peaks. Accumulation has nearly stalled since May 2026 when bitcoin entered significantly undervalued territory.
