According to Decrypt's CryptoQuant data, Bitcoin network activity reached its highest level since late 2024 on June 22, only 7% below the September 2024 historical peak. However, transaction values have become significantly smaller, with transactions under 0.01 BTC and under 0.001 BTC surging from 44% in 2023 to approximately 80%, indicating protocol-driven activity with high volume but low individual transaction value. OP_RETURN usage also surged to near historical highs in 2026, linked to Bitcoin NFT activity and timestamp services. Bitcoin's price has declined 17% over the past 30 days, currently trading around $63,865.
