According to analyst Yan Jin, Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs have shown price movements closely aligned with fund flows since their launch. From October last year to now, Bitcoin ETF assets fell from $169.5 billion to $96.4 billion (down 43%), while BTC price dropped from $125,000 to $73,000 (down 41%). Ethereum ETF assets fell from $32 billion to $11.6 billion (down 63%), while ETH price fell from $4,800 to $2,000 (down 59%).
Recent sustained net outflows from both ETFs have coincided with continuous price declines over the past two weeks.
