Binance Co-Founder Yi He Warns of Impersonation Scam on Monday, CoinUp Denies Ties to Zhu Pan

According to Binance co-founder Yi He's post on Monday, an individual identified as Zhu Pan had impersonated her in scam attempts. Yi He stated that Zhu Pan also impersonated Tron founder Justin Sun, and used AI-generated content to impersonate prominent families and crypto exchanges. Sun responded directly, affirming Yi He's account and urging legal pursuit of the conduct.

Derivatives exchange CoinUp issued a statement on Tuesday distancing itself from Zhu Pan, stating he is not a platform member or core operational manager but only a project party for a project launched on the exchange. CoinUp attributed recent CPX/USDT price swings to concentrated selling pressure and said a security review found no evidence of hacking or vulnerabilities. The exchange reserved the right to pursue legal action against what it termed malicious rumor-mongering.
