Asia Hedge Funds Exceed 100% Returns in First Five Months, Driven by AI Hardware Positions

According to Guru Club, several Asia-based hedge funds achieved returns exceeding 100% in the first five months of 2026, driven by early positions in AI hardware and semiconductor leaders. WT Asset Management's China-focused long-short fund delivered a net return of 103% through May, with over 20% gains in May alone, while its long-only fund gained 67.5%. E20 Capital, founded in 2025, achieved 136% net returns on its flagship Global Opportunity Investment Fund, supported by positions in storage, optical, and CPU sectors. Trivest Advisors posted 88.9% returns during the same period, benefiting from Asia's concentration of the semiconductor supply chain.
