ARK Invest Buys 3.3M SpaceX Shares for $500M on Historic IPO Debut Friday, Up 19.2%

According to SosoValue, ARK Invest bought 3,291,184 shares of SpaceX on the company's historic IPO debut Friday, a position worth more than $500 million by the close of trading. The shares priced at $135 and closed their first session at $160.95, gaining 19.2% over the offering price.

SpaceX raised $75 billion at a $1.77 trillion valuation through the sale of 555.56 million shares, marking the largest U.S. IPO on record and surpassing Saudi Aramco's 2019 listing by nominal proceeds.
