Argentina and U.S. Sign Military Cooperation Agreements on Drones and Fuel Supply on June 4

According to Argentina's Defense Ministry statement on June 4, Defense Minister Carlos Alberto Presti and U.S. Ambassador Peter Lamelas signed two military cooperation agreements. The first agreement establishes mutual military fuel supply, allowing Argentine armed forces to access U.S. military logistics networks for fuel replenishment during exercises, training, and deployments worldwide. The second agreement focuses on military drone cooperation, enabling Argentina to join a U.S.-managed international digital trading platform for unmanned aerial systems and counter-drone technologies to advance Argentine military UAV capabilities and drone defense systems.
