APT1.01%
According to Aptos, on June 25, the Republic of Chad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Luxembourg-based environmental firm Xange.com to establish a nationwide digital climate monitoring and verification infrastructure recorded on the Aptos blockchain. Verified environmental data and carbon credits generated in Chad will be permanently recorded on Aptos using immutable digital certifications, enabling the country to meet international verification standards and access global carbon markets for the first time. The blockchain framework supports every stage of carbon credit creation and trading while providing cryptographically protected, auditable records required by international climate finance institutions.
