OpenAI's annualized revenue, by comparison, remains in the $30 billion to $33 billion range with slowing growth momentum.

AnthropiC is projected to achieve $559 million in operating profit in Q2 2026 with a 5% operating margin, marking its first profitable quarter. OpenAI, meanwhile, faces significant losses with a negative 122% operating margin in Q1 and estimated net losses of at least $7 billion per quarter, driven by high server rental costs and free user base expenses.
