Amadeus Protocol Recovers X Account Compromised by Phishing Attack Last Week

According to Foresight News, privacy settlement protocol Amadeus Protocol announced on Tuesday that its X account has been recovered after being compromised last week through a sophisticated phishing attack. Attackers used forged DMCA violation notices that contained actual team posts to trick users into sharing account access details during a fake appeal process. The attackers subsequently demanded a ransom, which the team declined to pay. The account was restored within seven days through X's official recovery process after the team provided verification, according to the protocol's statement.
