About 10% of Americans Used Crypto in 2025, Highest Level Since 2022: Federal Reserve

According to the Federal Reserve, about 10% of US adults used or invested in crypto in 2025, the highest level in three years, based on the central bank's report on household economic well-being published on Wednesday. Roughly 9% used crypto as an investment vehicle, 2% for payments, and 1% to send money to family or friends. The 2025 figures, however, still fell short of crypto adoption seen in 2021, when 12% of Americans reported using crypto for any reason.
