According to BlockBeats, on May 15, Aave Labs proposed restructuring its bug bounty program by splitting different protocol modules into separate initiatives operated by Immunefi, Sherlock, and Cantina. Core Aave V3 critical vulnerability bounties will increase from $1 million to $5 million, while Aave V4 critical bounties will rise from $500,000 to $2.5 million.
The proposal also transfers responsibility for Aave V3 on Aptos bug bounties from Aave Labs to Aave DAO, with performance evaluation planned over the next 6 to 12 months.
