Revolut has applied for a full banking license in Peru to expand into the Latin American market.

PANews January 19 News, according to Bloomberg, UK fintech company Revolut has applied for a full banking license in Peru to expand its business in Latin America and compete with major fintech companies in the region. The company stated that the license will enable Revolut to offer a range of localized products and services to Peruvian users, enhancing their control over their finances. Peru is the fifth country in Latin America where Revolut has entered; the company previously obtained a banking license in Mexico, was approved to establish a bank in Colombia, acquired a bank in Argentina, and holds a credit license in Brazil.
