Trump says Iran's "killing" has stopped, possibly implying a pause in military action against Iran

Odaily Planet Daily reported that U.S. President Trump stated that he has been assured that Iran will stop “killing” protesters, implying he may delay the military response to the Iranian protests. As a result, international oil prices dropped by up to 4% in the short term. Trump told reporters on Wednesday in the Oval Office at the White House, “We have been told that Iran’s ‘killing’ behavior is stopping — it has stopped. And there are no plans for executions, nor are any executions being carried out.” He added that if this information proves to be false, he will be “very disappointed.” Prior to these remarks, Trump had called on the Iranian people to continue opposing the Khamenei government and stated that he would “take appropriate action” after learning the number of protesters killed.
