About Phoenixcoin (PXC)
Phoenixcoin wurde von Phenix Crypto Systems Network Inc. gegründet, die im Besitz von John Carmiche (JohnCar) und Michael Burns (iamatrix) ist und von ihnen betrieben wird. Der erste Block wurde am 8. Mai 2013 geschürft (generiert), aber die Währung wurde erst nach etwa 20000 Blöcken für die Öffentlichkeit freigegeben, was zu einem Pre-Mine von etwa 1 Million Münzen führte. Der ursprüngliche Name war Phenixcoin. Die Münze sollte für verschiedene Projekte des Gründungsunternehmens wie Phenix Poker oder Phenix Safe Trade verwendet werden.
Am 11. Juli 2013 gründeten Phoenixcoin gemeinsam mit Feathercoin und Worldcoin die UNOCS (United Open Currency Solutions), eine Allianz, die auf gemeinsame Entwicklung und Förderung abzielte. Leider zerfiel die Allianz später aufgrund schlechter Entwicklung und Projektmanagement nach dem Rückzug von Feathercoin.
